BLACKBERRY TIPS U SHLD KNOW

These Blackberry tips only work for OS versions before the BB 10. So, if your phone is one running on Blackberry 10, you may not want to proceed. There is however, one of this tips that works for every Blackberry phone, irrespective of the version of the Operating System.

These five tips I am going to write about here will make using your Blackberry phone easier and enjoyable. These are features I can tell with certainty that many people still do not know about. If you already know these tips, good for you. Let us share it with those who do not know.

1. Hidden Help Function
The hidden ‘Help Me!’ screen shows the signal strength, battery level, device PIN, free space, space in use, IMEI, OS version, how long the BlackBerry has been on and some other info that can be useful for troubleshooting. View it by pressing Alt + Caps + H.

2. Fast search Feature on BlackBerry Phone
You can search for contacts, messages and inside files and web pages – press S to search in contacts and messages and F to search in other apps

3. Turning on CAPS Lock while typing
I thought many people already knew about this but the truth surprised me.

To type in capital letter, many people do either of these two things: They press Shift and press the key they want to capitalize or press and hold a letter key to type the upper case of that letter. How many times would you have to do this if you have to type a paragraph in Capital.

Here comes the solution:
Press the Alt key and the Right Shift key. To turn off CAP lock, press the Left Shift key or Right Shift key.

4. Fast Copy/Select and Paste
There’s a Select command when you click on the menu button for choosing/selecting whatever you want to copy and paste – but here is a better way around this. You can make a selection just by holding down the Shift key as you scroll the trackball.
