HOW TO STOP UNWANTED POST TO YOUR FACEBOOK TIMELINE

How To Stop Websites & Apps Posting on Your Facebook Timeline

At one time or the other we give access to some applications and perhaps logged in to certain sites using facebook account. In doing this, we give those websites or apps permissions them is to post on our Facebook timeline and also access to information.
I came up with this post when a friend of mine called me that she is having all sorts of nude pictures posted on her Facebook timeline. She told me that she even got a call from her pastor asking questions about it.
The only way to stop apps/websites from having access to our account(to post nude photos) is to revoke their permission and you must know the name of that particular app/website in question.

Well, without much talk lets get to bizness....

How to revoke Facebook app/websites permissions

I am just going to be saying apps because even for a website, some kind of apps post for them. What this means is that, you just need to revoke access for the app that is posting on behalf of the website. Just follow the steps below.

Using PC
** Log on to your Facebook account
** Next to Home in the upper right side of the page, click the drop-down arrow, then select “Account Settings.”
** Select “Apps” on the left sidebar.
** Scan the list and click the “x” on the right of any app you want to clear. Its permissions will be revoked and you won’t see it anymore.

Using Facebook App
** Log on to your Facebook account
** Goto your “Account Settings” see image

 ** Select “Apps” see image

** Scan the list and click on any app you want to clear.

** Click on "Revoke" and Its permissions will be revoked and you won’t see it anymore.

To do this, you have to know the name of the app posting.
