Once you enter an incorrect recharge pin on your MTN line more than three times, you will be automatically barred from recharging. While most people think the barring is permanent, I am pleased to tell you it is only temporary.

1. The first reasonable call of action is to ring the customer assistant help desk service and tell them to kindly unbar your line but we all know that can be time wasting as it takes forever before your call will be answered. Sometimes you could end up spending a whole day trying to reach the help desk service. Instead try the alternative method.
2. This is the most effective method as no effort is brunt on trying to unbar your line. Wait for couple of hours say 2 – 3 hours and your MTN line will be automatically unbarred. If after 3 hours you still can’t recharge your line, then you will need to wait till 12 am passes, but in most case, this usually don’t happen.
