Browsing Tips You Don’t Know

Browsing Tips That You Don’t Know

I have come to realize that most people tend to use some apps and software on a daily basis without knowing the basic and useful tips attached to them.
Well, today is your lucky day cos am going to tell some useful facts....

  1. You don’t need to Enter http:// when entering a url: When visiting a website, you need not enter http:// or www in the address bar. You could simply enter a domain name that ends with .com alone and press “CTRL + Enter” to fill out the address bar for you. E.g typing “google” alone in your address bar and pressing “CTRL + Enter” will fill it out for you to result in http://www.google.com
  2. You can highlight url inside the address bar in chrome by pressing " CTRL + L or CTRL + A".
  3. You can delete an entire word instead of deleting a single letter by pressing “CTRL + BACKSPACE”.
  4.  The easiest way to refresh a page is by making use of "CTRL + SHIFT + R or CTRL + R" or simply by pressing "F5 or Fn + F5" as the case maybe. This will not only refresh the page, it will also clear the cache.
  5. You can undo almost all actions like to undo deleting a file or folder by pressing “CTRL + Z”.
  6. You can minimize all windows page by pressing “Windows + D”. This helps a long way in minimizing all open windows rather than having to minimize each one individually.
  7. You can re-open a recently closed tab by pressing “CTRL + Shift + T”
  8. You can take a screenshot of windows 8 by pressing “Windows + PRT SC”.
Let us know about the ones you make use of regularly and don’t forget to add the ones we left out in the comment section below. Help share this basic tips with the aid of the sharing option below.
