The New LG Band Play Mid-range Smartphone

LG recently unveiled Band Play, the Company’s latest smartphone in South Korea. The LG Band Play comes with a shiny design and some decent specs.


It has a 5inch IPS HD display with 1280 x 720 Pixels. It runs on Android 5.1(Lollipop) , powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 410 SoC. You also get 2GB RAM , 16GB internal memory and 2,300mAh Battery.

LG Band Play comes with 13MP back shooter and 5MP front camera. It has a powerful loudspeaker with 1W (watt) output that promises a clear sound. It has “focus mode” for teenagers that helps to ease their tension and improve concentration by playing relaxing therapy music without the disturbance of phone calls or notifications.

LG Band Play comes in Black and White colors and will be available through Korean operator SK Telecom for 394,800 Korean Won (US$ 356 / Rs. 22,660 approx.) starting June 25th. We’re not sure if / when there will be a global rollout.
