Sign Up & Chat on Messenger Without Facebook Account
You dont have a facebook account and still want to chat on facebook? There is good news for you. Facebook now allowing non-Facebook users to sign up for the stand-alone messaging app, as long as they have a mobile number. Although this is now limited to just four countries, we can expect this to rollout in other countries as well, sooner rather than later.
If you don't have a Messenger account yet, as soon as you download the app, you'll see an option on the welcome screen saying "not on Facebook", just below the "log in with Facebook option".
Google:Free WiFi For All
Google wants to bring free wifi to the world…. and it’s starting NOW.
No longer will we have to buy an overpriced data just to get internet connection.
Google is already rolling out free wifi in New York as part of a trial the company hopes will eventually span across the whole world.
The internet giant has even gone as far as to set up a company specifically dedicated to the task, called Sidewalk Labs.
How will they do this you ask – through turning 10,000 of the big apple’s old phone booths into ad-supported ‘Wi-Fi pylons’.

Blackberry Open to Android platform
Blackberry Open to Android platform
A report from Reuters earlier this month said that BlackBerry has plans to build an Android smartphone, and now the company’s CEO, John Chen, has come out with a statement that is far from being a denial. According to Chen, BlackBerry only builds and sells phones that are what he believes to be the most secure on the market. If the company can do the same with Android — find a way to make it secure — it sounds like Chen is open to the idea…
Chen told CNBC that “We only build secure phones. And BlackBerry is the most secure phone. So if I can find a way to secure the Android phone, I will also build that,”
It’s a pretty open-ended response, but it’s definitely notable that the CEO is open to Android as a platform. The company is reportedly planning to use Google’s Android operating system on an upcoming slider-like device that is in the cards for later this fall. According to earlier reports, the device will have a touchscreen and a physical keyboard, possibly similar to the slider phone that BlackBerry showed off at Mobile World Congress earlier this year (see pix).

Report: Google Wants a Future Where Streaming Apps is a Possibilty
Don't Install That App Just Stream It

Agawi, as you may know, specialized in streaming apps from the cloud to mobile devices.
HOW TO BOOST YOUR SMARTPHONE
What is the usefulness of having a smartphone when it is slow?
Due to so many factors involved, once you’ve been using your phone for a while, it starts to lag and android is no exception.
Restarting your phone is actually a quick fix. Doing this kills unnecessary background apps and processes, clears your cache and as well clears the memory to ensure your device runs smoothly again.
I will advice you restart your phone at the least once every day.
2. Close unused open apps to free up RAM
Multitasking is one feature that has been embraced and is widely used on androids. But multitasking eats deep into your RAM when you have too many apps opened especially when your device doesn’t have enough RAM to carryout the workload. Once you start to feel you phone is lagging, close unused app and watch your phone speed up itself.

HOW TO STOP UNWANTED POST TO YOUR FACEBOOK TIMELINE
How To Stop Websites & Apps Posting on Your Facebook Timeline
At one time or the other we give access to some applications and perhaps logged in to certain sites using facebook account. In doing this, we give those websites or apps permissions them is to post on our Facebook timeline and also access to information.I came up with this post when a friend of mine called me that she is having all sorts of nude pictures posted on her Facebook timeline. She told me that she even got a call from her pastor asking questions about it.
The only way to stop apps/websites from having access to our account(to post nude photos) is to revoke their permission and you must know the name of that particular app/website in question.
Well, without much talk lets get to bizness....

People don't want to be too saturated now with other features they don't really use.Android TV Launcher is where Android TV entertainment and activities start. How To Leave Facebook Groups
How To Leave Groups On Facebook
It's quite boring or rather annoying to see yourself added to unimportant, better still irrelevant groups on Facebook and you find yourself receiving bunch of updates you did not bargain for.
It actually struck me to write this article, when a Friend called me lamenting that I should remove him from a group I had earlier added him to. It's not a crime to add your friends to groups but when they don't want to, you just have to respect their decision.
If you are added to groups you don't want, why not remove yourself. Did I hear you say how? Worry not, here's how.
To leave any Facebook groups can be done in 3 ways
1. Using Facebook App
2. Using your phone browser e.g Opera mini
3. Using a Computer

Wonderful Features of Infinix Hot Note
The 5.5-inch Android powered phone boasts a 4000 mAh battery that can fast charge from 0 to 100% in 90 minutes – if you use the bundled charger – and can take you through nearly 2 days of above average use, on one charge.
I like to think of the Infinix Hot Note as a hybrid of the Infinix Zero and Infinix Hot. Only it has better battery life than both combined and is bigger on performance. But the Infinix Hot Note is much more than just a bump in power and performance over its predecessors.
Features of Infinix Smartphone
Gesture-based Quick StartBy simply drawing figures on the screen when inactive, you can “quick start” the phone unto a predefined app.
By default, drawing a C on the Infinix Hot Note’s inactive lock screen will quick start you to the camera app. Of course you can change which gestures open which apps. The only flaw is that while you can set any letter to any app, you are limited in the number of letters you can use – there are only 8 of them.

Fix Yahoo Mobile Sign-In Problems
Logging in to Yahoo mail accounts can prove so problematic and I believe many Yahoo mail users have swiched to Gmail and Outlook because of this. You can get frustrated with error message like incorrect username or password or sometimes been asked to log in to your account using a computer.
I don’t blame people that have made the switch to Gmail but it’s unfortunate that some are already stuck with Yahoo mail in such a way that switching account would be disastrous. What we have to do is look for ways around problems we encounter in Yahoo mail.

How To Check Fake Samsung SmartPhones
Fake gadgets are nothing new. China may be an emerging market but it's the main source of replicas, clones, fakes, and Nigeria is a huge market to exploit.
With all the improvement in technology, it's so much easier to copy ideas and designs these days. Sad to say, there is a"fake industry" that's annoying yet business is booming in the underground.
A lot of good folks have been a victim of buying fake Samsung products, without knowing that it is a fake. It is my duty to point out some facts that will guide us in choosing the right Samsung smartphone.

Disable Pre-Installed Apps On Your Device (Bloatwares)
What is a bloatware?
Bloatwares are pre-installed apps that comes with computers, phones etc. They take a large amount of system resources (Storage space, RAM), which usually runs in the background and also drains your battery off its juice. In other words, they are pre-installed junks.
We would be discussing how to disable bloatwares on Android smartphones.
There are 3 ways to remove bloatwares:
1. Disable Apps
This is a process intended for non-rooted phone users that want to do away with bloatwares so it doesn’t consume RAM and battery.
Note that this step is not actually uninstalling it, rather like its called, you are only disabling it.
Go to Settings >> Application >> Slide through your apps and disable the pre-installed apps you want to do away with. This is actually the safest way because once you encounter an error message, you can easily enable it back from your application manager.
2. Using Root App
Your device needs to be rooted for this method to work effectively for you. We all know the potential of an android smartphone is usually unlocked after it has been rooted. If you are scared of rooting your device because you might eventually brick your device, kindly stick to step 1.
Head over to play store, search and download system app managers like NoBloat Free, System App Remover etc. Choose the one that works best for you, grant root access and follow its procedure.
3. Flash your Custom ROM
Don’t follow in this direction if you don’t know what it is about. When you flash your stock ROM with a Custom ROM e.g Cyanogenmod, you have overwritten the operating system that came installed with the device with a custom ROM. Custom ROM don’t usually come with pre-installed apps so you are rest assured your device is bloatware free.
Which one did you use to get rid of your bloatwares? Let me know in the comment section below.

Dont Want to be "SEEN" on Whatsapp, Here is how....
WhatsApp is fast becoming the best messenger for mobile platform. It is available for all mobile platforms like Android, iPhone, Blackberry, Symbian etc and it is also the most used application on these platforms.
Once you have Internet access on your mobile phone, then you can send unlimited messages to anyone. The message can be long or short, video, audio, images, messages etc. And the best part is, the messaging is almost free. Yeah i said it "Almost Free".

Because of its unique and truly unbelievable features Facebook owner Mark couldn't help but pay a lot of money to acquire them. It is an application that has made life easy for so many of us. A lot of the service providers are now creating data plans that are specific to just Whatsapp users.
The last seen feature gives us an idea about when the person you want to chat was online. It’s a great feature, but the function becomes really annoying because it reveals whether you are online or not. You can not hide from your friends and they’ll keep texting you.
If you dont want to be seen then you can do the following to hide the last seen feature
Open your Whatsapp Messenger
Go to Settings and click on Account
Next head towards Privacy and click on Last Seen
Next select Last seen for ” Everyone , My Contacts or Nobody”
Go to Settings and click on Account
Next head towards Privacy and click on Last Seen
Next select Last seen for ” Everyone , My Contacts or Nobody”
There you have it, you can now stay hidden while been online.

Traslucent Status Bar for Google Map 9.9
Raise your hand if you've constantly been annoyed when you see the black status bar on Google Maps, particularly when it's being very obtrusive as you're navigating your way through a strange place? Probably all of us Maps users have been"victimized" by this black monstrosity.
Finally, Google has also probably had enough of it, and in the upcoming newest update of Google Maps,it has been replaced by a translucent bar.
The past few months, Google Maps has been bringing a lot of changes to the app, as its status as one of the most popular apps across all platforms has been solidified. While the updates have not been that major, they have contributed to making the user experience even smoother and more intuitive. But even though many updates have come and gone, that black status bar was a continuous blight amidst our joy of being able to navigate our way through strange cities and places. We've been hoping for a change in that, and now, it has finally come.Version 9.9 will finally feature a translucent status bar so we won't be disturbed anymore. Of course when you have a busy map, the status bar won't be all that readable, but at least it looks much better. The update will also bring a notification card when you start your navigation and it will tell you if that's the quickest route or if there are any delays on your way. You'll also get spoken alerts for this, to avoid you constantly looking at the screen. The update hasn't arrived yet on the Google Play Store.
